Blackburn Rovers have cooled talk of a move for Portsmouth midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng.
The Lancashire Telegraph says national media reported yesterday morning Rovers had made enquiries about the midfielder.
But the club have rubbished these reports insisting that they have no funds to acquire the midfielder.
While the former Spurs player would interest Rovers, their limited budget and need for more home-grown players would make any potential move highly unlikely.
