
Ghana crocked midfielder Michael Essien is on course to be fit for next month's African Nations Cup.
The Chelsea star has been a doubt for the tournament with a hamstring injury.
But he was named in coach Milovan Rajevac's squad for the tournament in Angola as the Black Stars prepare.
Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti has given Ghana hopes of playing Essien in the tournament by revealing that the quick pace of recovery.
Ancelotti said: "Essien's recovery is going well. He's improving everyday.
"I think that he will play for us when he returns from the Cup.
“But I don't think he'll play before then.
Ghana will play Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso and Togo in Group B of the tournament.
