Coca Cola Medal Golf finals fixed for Dec. 19

Accra, Dec. 16, GNA - The finals of this year's Coca Cola Monthly Medal Open Golf

Championship tees off at the Achimota Golf Course in Accra on Saturday, December 19.

Mr Kwabena Oteng-Aboagye, General Manager of the Achimota Golf Club told GNA

Sports in Accra on Wednesday that about 120 golfers are expected to participate in the one-

day 18-Hole Short Gun competition.
He said management has put in place adequate measures to ensure that a worthy

champion emerges in the competition which begins at 0800 hours.

Mr Oteng-Aboagye urged all players who have signed to participate in the competition to

endeavour to report tp the starter at 8.00 am for allocation of holes, adding that Coca Cola

has promied promised to dole out fantastic prizes including fridges, trophies and hampers to

the lucky winners.
Matthias Dorfe, Charles Tabi, E. M. Kwame, Mike Ezan, Mike Aggrey and Yaw Assah-

Sam are expected to battle each other for the various prizes at stake in the Male category.

Mona Myles-Lamptey, Clara Price, Florence Etwi-Barimah, Ama Morgan and Francisca

Vandyck would also compete for honours in the Ladies segment.
