Kotoko midfielder balks crisis report

Asante Kotoko midfielder Jordan Opoku says they club is not in crisis situation after their season took a diferent turn following a 1-0 defeat to rivals Hearts of Oak.

The club lie at a parlous 13th position on the league table after managing only ten points from a possible 24.

 
There has been huge unrest among the teeming fans ahead of the remaining six fixtures to half the season. 

 
But the former Gomoa Fetteh Feyernord player is optimistic of a stirred up performance in subsequent matches.

 
"We are not in a crisis and I want to urge the fans to be patient with us and continue to support us because we will make them happy at the end of the league," he added.

 
"We lost to Hearts of Oak painfully but we are not down at all despite the streak of unimpressive results.

 
"We are playing all the good football but just that we haven't found the striking magic yet. But we are still training hard and improving match after match and we will get there.''
