Kessben coach to maintain surge

Kessben coach Bashir Hayford says he is keen to guard his side's enviable position on top of the Glo Premier League table in their best start in the top flight.

Kessben FC are currently four points clear at the top of the table following an impressive run after eight rounds of matches.

 
The former Asante Kotoko coach seems to have found his feet after the club struggled for survival last term and remains confident of breaking the Hearts-Kotoko dominance.

 
"I am convinced this year is our year of success and we are going to ensure we stay at the top till the end of the season," Hayford told Ghanasoccernet.com

 
"Last year was a difficult one for us but thank God we have found our rhythm and playing well and we are also improving match after match and that is good for team spirit and confidence.

 
"We know it might not be smooth sialing for us through out the season, but will do our bst to keep our heads high."

 
The league leaders have a difficult away tie against new boys Aduana Stars at Dorma Ahenkro on Sunday.
