
Ghana Football Association has planned to play Malawi in an international friendly from their camping base in South Africa ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations in Angola.
The Black Stars will to playthe Flames on 03 January in Nelspruit before leaving for Angola for thefinals which begins on 10 January.
Ghana begin camping on 27 December, three days to the Caf player submission deadline for the Nations Cup.
"We haveheld discussions with the Malawi FA but a contract is yet to be sealedfor the friendly. The point is that we have agreed to play them," GFAVice-President Fred Pappoe told Ghanasoccernet.com
"There are some matches we are trying to put together and we can't confirm much at the moment."
Ghana are in Group D alongside Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso and Togo, their opening opponents at the tournament.
