Confusion is reigning supreme in the camp of the cranes of Uganda ahead of thier september 8 African cup qualifier against the Black Stars of Ghana.

The Goverment has been accused of not showing intrest in the teams preparations. Sports Minister Bukenya has not been to a single cranes training session to boost the players morale.

These developments have made soccer followers in Uganda very worried, more so when the local soccer governing body seems to be worse than ever in terms of planning and organisation.

News reaching Channel R sports on the matter indicate that the Cranes

recent trip to Kisimbu in their match against Kenya's Harambee stars has been described by local soccer analysts as sheer ineptitude and poor management. The cranes much talked about camping in Libya has been postponed to early september, whiles they are due to play the stars around that time.Analysts have described the timing as unacceptable.

Certain players are also complainig of irregular payment of daily transport allowances.Inspite of all this

Soccer loving Ugandans are hoping for a miracle when their national side play against the Black Stars of Ghana.
