Ghana will play Togo at the Nations Cup

Ghana will open its quest for fifth Nations Cup title in Angola in January with a clash with neighbours Togo.

 
The Black Stars were drawn in Group B of the tournament with Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso and Togo following Friday's draw in Luanda.

The Stephen Appiah-led team will play Togo on 11 January before the titanic clash with Ivory Coast four days later in Cabinda.

The Black Stars will then travel to the capital Luanda for their final group encounter with nothern neighbours Burkina Faso on 19 January.

The winner from Group B will take on the second runner up in Group A which includes hosts Angola, Mali, Malawi and Algeria.

Group B's second runner-up will be up against the winner from Group A in the quarter-finals stage of the competition.

The 32-fixture tournament involving 16 nations will be played at four new Chinese-built stadiums in Luanda, Benguela, Cabinda and Lubango.
