In the Russian Premier League, dribbling wizard Quincy Owusu-Abeyie came on in the 55th minute as Spartak Moscow beat Khimki 3-0.

Haminu Dramani was yellow carded on the 48th minute as his relegation threatened side let go valuable points at home.

They drew 1-1 with Dynamo Moscow.
In the Spanish La Liga, Derek Boateng lasted the entire duration for Getafe who  derailed Athletic Bilbao 2-0. 

In Egypt, Abdul Rahim Ayew netted the third goal for El Zamalek as they defeated Military Production 3-2.
