MTN Soccer Academy select 24 players

Twenty-four players of out of the 5,000 players scrambling for the seven places in the Academy House have inched closer to realizing their dream, after making the grade.

The 24, who will further be pruned to seven are - Raphael Ocloo, Hayford Nuako Manu, Caygu Williams, Samuel Odartey Lartey, Frank Antwi, Francis Addo, Arago Jamal and Daniel Opare.

The rest are Williamson A. Courage, Alino Benson Wahab Ibrahim, Khalil Moustapha Captan, Baba Fidelis, Samuel Tagoe, Gideon Binfor, Michael Boni, Adu Poku Philip, Justice Moctor, Sarpark,Wakilu Mohammed, Arthur Patric Revalero, Daah Samuel, Kwame Bonsu Abubakar Abdul Karim.

The 24 contestants will be divided into three groups - namely, M, T and N, with each having 8 contestants, out of which the seven will be selected based on skills, personality, character, intelligence and votes from viewers and judges

These same criteria will be applied to fellow Nigerian contestants. Each group will have their contestants screened on air .

Each contestant will have a three minute documentary on how his journey started to allow viewers make sound judgment as to who they would want to see in the house when the show finally kicks off, through their daily voting.

Contestants in group M will be on screened on Mondays and Tuesdays and that of T on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, whiles the last group N will appear on Fridays and Saturdays. All three groups will be aired on Sunday.

The viewers' votes constitute only 40% and the person with the highest number of texts in Ghana, will win a ticket to next year's world cup to be held in South Africa, whiles viewers in Nigerian who text the most will have the opportunity to win tickets that will enable them fly down to Ghana to enjoy the live eviction shows.
