Yeboah nets in Europa League

Ghana striker Sam Yeboah got the only Ghanaian goal on Thursday night in the Europa League third qualifying round first leg ties in Hapoel Tel Aviv's 1-3 win at IFK Gothenburg.

 
Yeboah gave the Israeli side the lead in the 78th minute after bouncing back from a goal down in the  21st minute.

Left-back David Addy lasted the entire duration of Randers FC 's 0-4 defeat at home to last season's Uefa Cup semi-finalists Hamburg. Centre-back Issah Ahmed watched the action from the Randers bench.

John Paintsil completed Fulham's match in their 0-3 win at Lithuanian side Vetra.

Black Satellites striker Dominic Adiyiah sat on the bench in Fredrikstad's 1-6 loss to Lech Poznan of Poland.

Striker Joetex Frimpong was an 84th minute substitute for Swiss side Young Boys which managed a 0-1 at Spanish side Athletic Bilbao.

Samuel Inkoom sat out FC Basel's 2-2 draw at Icelandic side Reykjavik.

Elsewhere Awudu Samad Okocha was a 46th minute substitute for Maccabi Netanya is their 1-4 loss to Galatasary.

Mohammed Awal Issah played the entire duration for Red Star Belgrade which lost 2-0 to Dimini Tblisi in Georgia.
