
MUNTARI LOVES THE MEDIA Black Stars midfielder Sulley Muntari has cleared the air over his relationship with the local media after his recent withdrawal from the team for the joint qualifiers.
The 24-year-old was furious news of his injury was blew out of proportion and painted "black'' by the media.
An infamous interview granted by her mother on a local radio station was stretched.
Muntari quickly wants to banish those sour moments and looks ahead to a cordial relationship with the media.
"I don't hate the the media. Let's say if I was the media and they're playing and they treat me like that I will feel bad right," Muntari told Ghanasoccernet.com
"I think they're doing their work but the truth must be said at times. I was injured and people didn't know the truth so a lot was said.
"But that is past and we must look forward now."
The Inter Milan ace was on warpath with the media after his fiancee was involved in a burst-up with a policeman during the Ghana-Benin qualifier in March.
Muntari's problem with the media dates back to 2004 when he was sacked from the Olympic team in Athens for breaking camp rules.
