Musicians set to beat Radio Presenters on July 1

Accra, June 30, GNA — The Musicians football team would take on Radio Presenters FC in a friendly football match at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium in Accra on Wednesday, July 1.

The match which would be a curtain-raiser to the President's Cup match between Accra Hearts of Oak and Sekondi Eleven Wise is aimed at strengthening the already existing cordial relationship between the two bodies.

Andrew Samini, Head Coach of the Musicians FC told GNA Sports in Accra on Tuesday, that his team has stepped up its preparations and were sure of recording a convincing 5-0 victory on the day over their opponents.

He said with the inclusion of Lord Kenya, Kwabena Kwabena and Prince Osei in their set up all was set for the big game.

Samini said the poor performance put up by the Musicians in their match against the Foreign-based players on June 27, was due to some unforeseen circumstances and that he has mapped out a new strategy to beat the Radio Presenters.

Prince Osei who missed last Sunday's match has promised to score two goals for his team to silence the Presenters and make the Republic Day celebrations a memorable one.
