Former Black Stars second goalie goalkeeper Sammy Adjei has denied reports that he resigned from the national team after the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on home soil.
The 27-year-old explains that he wrote a letter to then technical team asking to be excused from two national team games and never stated his resignation.
Adjei has joined local side Hearts of Oak on a short loan deal but he is yet to make his return debut.
He believes his international future is far from over as clubs in Europe and Africa are chasing his signature.
