CHIBSAH WAS DROPPED Black Stars midfielder Yusif Chibsah has attributed the team's unexpected 2-0 win over Mali in Bamako to hard work and unyielding bravery.
Chibsah trained with team for two weeks but was dropped by head coch Milovan Rajevac for the Mali clash.
"Right from camp the guys were determined we made up our mind to win this game, the worst performance should be a draw and had that a the back of the mind that paid work ," Chibsah told Ghanasoccernet.com
" The coach was confident and sent the message across to all the players and I think that helped them on the pitch.
" We knew they had quality players and it was always going to be difficult but we were determined."
The Black Stars are on top the Group D table and will face Sudan next away in a fortnight.
