The management of Asante Kotoko has contracted a UK-based psychologist to help overturn their lenghty spell of unfavourable results, according to the Ghana News Agency.
A source said the psychologist has been given the mandate to critically delve deep into the challenges confronting the players and officials of the club and make recommendations to ensure the way forward.
The GNA reports that Ofori visited the training grounds of Kotoko at the Ridge Park in Kumasi on Thursday where he had preliminary interactions with the playing body and technical team.
In his initial assessment of the situation, the psychologist told reporters that undue pressure on the playing body by supporters.
He also added that the fear of failure by the players had contributed substantially to the decline in their performance.
