Chairman of the Division One League Board, Kwame Ntow Fianko, has slammed clubs in zone 3 for their unprofessional acts in his half-way appraisal of the second-tier League.

The first round of the League ended went on break on Thursday after the final matches in zone 3B was cleared but not without incidents.

Bribery allegations, poor officiating and its resultant crowd troubles characterized some matches in th second-tier League.

Fianko told Ghanasoccernet:" I must say that the first round was mixed fortune for us especially if you monitor the recent trouble in some centres."

"The Desert Warriors and Okwahu match at Adenta was a pure case of disgraceful act of the game and these are just but a few of the troubled matches we witnessed in the first round.

"Another match involving King Solomon and Bright Future saw people receiving slaps-right, front and center," he added.

"It has not been bad because we have less incident as compared to last year and we hope all these acts of barbarism will stop for us to secure lucrative sponsorship deals."

The second half of the League resumes on 06 June.
