Former Hearts of Oak defender Dan Quaye has joined Sekondi Eleven Wise for the remainder of the season in an undisclosed fee.

The 29-year-old wants to re-launch his career after an unsuccessful spell in Asia.

The Former Black Stars defender is returning to play in the local league for the second time after his fall out with then Hearts coach Eyal Lachman.

Quaye was a key member of the Hearts Oak side that won the Caf Champions League in 2000.

His slump in form and decision to question Eyal Lachman's tactics forced Hearts to sell him to Chinese second-tier side Chongqing Lifan in March last year.

Wise have also concluded the signing of striker Emmanuel Clottey from Great Olympics for the remainder of the season.

The 22-year-old is also joining the sekondi-based side after an abortive trip abroad.

Clottey won the goal king title in 2007 and moved to Austrian Bundesliga Club FC Wacker Innsbruck where he was denied a contract extension.
