Coach Dauda Lutherodt has stated that his Accra Great Olympics side has a bright future despite their defeat by the soccer mountaineers, Okwahu United in the last weekend Polytank Division One league at the Nkawkaw Park .

In a telephone interview with this reporter, the coach revealed that his side lost as a result of a misunderstanding between his defenders.

He said despite their defeat, he was very much impressed with his team's performance and his boy's really carried out his instructions on the day.

He hinted that it is gradually becoming a tradition in Ghana football that home teams must definitely win to please their supporters, which according to the coach is a bad phenomena developing in the local game.

“I don't want to comment on officiating but my little advice to all the referees in the Division One league is that they esteem fairness in handling matches,” he added.

He pointed out that they have recovered from the defeat and preparing seriously ahead of their next game against Zaytuna FC, scheduled for the EL-Wak Stadium this weekend.

He urged supporters to rally behind the team even if the going gets tough.
