Alhaji Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, Minister of Youth and Sports told GNA Sports that his outfit has set aside that substantial amount for the successful organization of the match.

The Sports Minister said that preparations for the game are far advanced adding that fans will be assured of an incident-free match.

Alhaji Mohammed-Mubarak assured that there will be rigorous security at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi which is expected to attract a huge crowd of football fans.

The Sports Minister added that his outfit is committed to the Black Stars' campaign for the first ever Mundial to be staged on the African soil in 2010 in South Africa.

“We will do everything humanly possible to ensure that Black Stars qualify for the 2010 World Cup.

“The journey begins on Sunday and I entreat all to rally behind the team to make the dream possible.”

The Stars will next play the Eagles of Mali on June 7 in Bamako before trekking to Omdurman to face the Sudanese Desert Hawks.
