Mrs Owusu Adjapong and Hennie Boshoff Hennie Boshoff, Project Manager of communication giants MTN, won the Tema March Monthly Medal Golf held at the Tema Golf Course at the weekend.
Boshoff, virtually a new member of the club, playing to a handicap of 24, returned a one under par 71 net to beat Dr. Paul Owusu Duah on count back, winning the beautiful trophy at stake.
Joshua Peprah 72 net, took the third prize, beating Francis Torgah 72 net to the fourth position in the men's event.
Ex-lady captain of the club, Adelaide Owusu-Adjapong won the ladies' encounter with a four under par 68 net to take the trophy, beating the Zimbabwean Ambassador Her Excellency P.T. Musaka 69 net and Esther Afrakoma Antwi 70 net respectively.
Ex-President of the club, Hon. Felix Owusu-Adjapong joined others in handing over prizes to winners.
The next major event of the club, the Bok-Nam Kim Memorial tournament comes on at the venue on April 18, 2009 while the 6th Ghana Ladies Union Championship will be held at the Celebrity Golf Club, Sakumono, on March 27-29, 2009.
