AFRANIE TOOK CHARGE OF FIRST GAME Sporting Mirren muffed up hatful of goal scoring chances to draw goalless with Gamba All Blacks at the Ohene Djan Stadium on Thursday.

 
Striker Mahatma Otoo and captain Frank Boateng were the worst culprits messing up infront of goal on countless ocassions.

Mirren under new coach E K Afranie exhibited an improved performance but lacked the cutting edge to turn their possession into penetration.

Sporting are still second-bottom, two points behind All Blacks who are third from the  bottom on the league table.

At the Sunyani Coronation Park, Chelsea nicked a 1-0 over Kessben FC in their replayed fixture.

Kessben FC were leading 1-0 on Wednesday but a heavy pour in the last 15 minutes ended the match abruptly.
