The March Medal Open Championship of the Tema Country Golf Club tees off at Tema on Saturday, March 14.
Mr Ebenezer Adablanu, General Manager of the Club told GNA Sports at Tema on Tuesday that the one-day 18-Hole Medal Play event is open to amateur golfers in the Greater Accra Region.
He said the competition which is expected to attract about 100 golfers would be sponsored by the Tema Country Golf Club.
Mr Adablanu said the event which would be played in accordance with the rules of the Ghana Golf Association and the local rules of the Tema Country Golf has Handicap 18 and 24 respectively as the entry requirements.
Kweku Okyere, captain of the Tema Country Golf Club would lead his team including D. J. Kofi Yim, President, Felix Owusu-Adjapong, immediate past president, Paul Owusu-Baah and Kojo Choi.
Achimota Golf Club which would be led by their captain, Mike Aggrey would include Michael Ben-George, Daniel List, Paul List, Matthias Dorfe, Charles Tabi and Albert Brock.
