MILOVAN IS A 'SPECTATOR\' Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac has explained why he prefers to remain in the VIP box instead of staying on the touchline for technical directions.
The Serbian was sent into the stands in the closing minutes of their second Group match against Libya.
After serving a one-match ban, he has failed to return to the team's bench but rather prefers communicating the necessary technical aid to his Ghanaian assistant Kwesi Appiah on phone.
Rajevac watched proceedings from the stands as the Black Stars secured a final berth via the lottery of penalty shoot-out.
He claims his new role at the CHAN is no invention in his coaching career.
"I did that before in my career you know it's much easier because you have a much better view from the stands and you can make more rationale decisions and you are not irritated by the referees, Rajevac disclosed to Ghanasoccernet.
It's however unclear if the 54-year-old will remain in the VIP box or take his place on the team's bench.
