The Management of premiership newcomers, SP Mirren last Friday outdoored seasoned coach, Emmanuel Afranie as its head coach.
According to the Managing Director of SP Mirren, Mr. Fadi Fattal, the coach's employment was necessitated by the club's not-too-impressive performance in the elite league.
And as a matter of immediacy, the ace coach has been tasked to ensure that the team escapes the relegation zone of the Glo premier league.
“I believe that Coach Afranie will bring his vast coaching experience to bear on the team to make us realise our desired goal,” said Mr. Fattal.
He announced that Telecommunications company, MTN, will announce a three year sponsorship package for Mirren this week.
Coach Afranie urged the technical team, management as well as the playing body to rally behind him to achieve their goal of maintaining their premiership status at the end of the season.
He described his outdooring as historic, saying “This is the first time I am being outdoored as a coach, not even the big clubs I coached outdoored me, throughout my coaching career.”
“I am not a magician, but I can say without any shadow of doubt that with all hands on deck, we will realize our goal.
