Gt. Accra Division Two League kicks-off on April 4

This year's Greater Accra Division Two Football League kicks-off on Saturday, April 4.

Mr Jordan Anaglah, Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association, who disclosed this at the Association's Congress in Accra on Wednesday, said 60 clubs are expected to participate in the competition which had been divided into six zones.

He said 10 clubs would be put in each Zone with the first two clubs at the end of the League progressing to compete in the Sub-Middle League for qualification to the Division One.

Mr Anaglah said two clubs at the bottom of each zone at the end of the League would be relegated to Division Three.

He advised the Clubs to abide by the rules and the regulations governing the competition to enable the Association have a clean, fair and keen competition this year.

The Regional Chairman also appealed to the supporters to do away with hooliganism, which he said had eaten deep into the League, adding that the law would not spare anybody caught in causing any disturbances.

Mr Anaglah congratulated Prampram-based Pure Joy Stars for qualifying for the Division One League and expressed the hope that the Club would aspire to greater heights by qualifying to the Premier League.
