DICKOSN WANTS TO STAY NOW Charlton Ghanaian striker Chris Dickson will withdraw his transfer request less than a month after slapping it in due to his start at the weekend.

Dickson has struggled to break into the first team at The Valley since his move from Dulwich Hamlet in 2007, but he was finally given his chance to shine in his first home start against Plymouth on Saturday.

And after proving a huge hit with an impressive performance to help the Addicks to a 2-0 victory, the burly frontman has decided his future now lies with the Londoners.

He told the News Shopper: "I did put in a transfer request as I just felt like I wasn't getting the rub of the green with regards to playing.

"But I'm happy, I'm playing football and I'm enjoying playing football and I just want to get us up the table and make sure we stay in the Championship.

"From what I know, I'm still transfer listed but obviously a withdrawal's imminent. I'm playing and I'm enjoying it, so it's definitely withdrawn now."
