A collapse supporter being carry out TWO MORE deaths have been announced by the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after the game between Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi last Sunday.

According to a medical doctor of the hospital who spoke to Kwame Sefa-Kayi on Peace FM's Morning Show yesterday, the two football fans who were in critical conditions died through suffocation.

This latest development has increased the death toll to six after four of the soccer fans were earlier confirmed dead while many others sustained various degrees of injury during the big game.

Already, the National Sports Council (NSC) has begun investigating what triggered the overcrowding at the stadium since it only issued out 38,000 tickets for sale.

Prince Oduro Mensah, NSC boss noted that televisions mounted at the stadium to check riots and others would be used to investigate the problems surrounding the overcrowding.

Allegations of fans jumping over the stadium walls and illegal selling of tickets were alleged to have occurred at the stadium.

There are indications that the stadium was full beyond its normal capacity of 40,194.

Overcrowding of the stadium during last Sunday's game culminated in scores of fans  collapsing in the heated stands and were then brought unto the tartan tracks to be resuscitated by para-medics before being rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
