Black Satellites arrive home

The truimphant Ghana Under-20 team, the Black Satellites, have returned home from the African Youth Championship to a rousing welcome.

 
Thousands of football fans were at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra to cheer them up.

The team then proceeded to the office of the President of Ghana at the Castle,Osu to present the trophy.

Officials of the Football Association, Minister-Designate for Youth and Sports and the National Sports Council were at the Airport to meet the team.

Ghana Football Association President Kwasi Nyantakyi heaped praises on the playing body and head coach Sellas Tetteh.

"I also like to that the technical team headed by his excellency Sellas Tetteh-He has proven that he's a very good apprentice and now a good master," Nyantakyi told Ghanasoccernet.com

"He went through a lot the hands of several head coaches in this country and we thought that it was time for him become a head coach and he has proven as right.

"I think that what you have achieved today for yourself and the country is a stepping stone for greater things ahead.

"And for our gallant stars, I think I have told you before and I will repeat it today that you're the key to the future of football in this country.

" I also reminding you that you're the Black Stars of tomorrow."
