Tomorrow, the Prisons Park at Cantonments in Accra will bubble with excitement as over a dozen ex-Black Stars players including Emmanuel Armah, Hesse Odamtten and Nii Noi Dowuona converge for a special football match.

The match being put together by football philanthropist, Alhaji Ahmed Bandoh, whose company, Bahmed Travel and Tours is the sponsor, will also feature the former skipper of the Nigerian senior national soccer team, the Super Eagles, Sunday Oliseh.

The ex-Nigerian star is expected in the country today and will be a guest player in the match which has become an annual ritual of Alhaji Bandoh to bring such players together and also to round off the year's activities.

Apart from providing a forum for the stars of yesteryear, it also marks the end of the celebration of Eid-Ul-Adha by the Moslem community.

Alhaji Bandoh told the Daily Graphic that some foreign-based players of the current Black Stars who are holidaying in the country have indicated their desire to be part of the programme.

There will be dignitaries from the various foreign missions (embassies) to grace the occasion.

At stake is a giant trophy and an undisclosed amount of money.
