Rajevac glances at CHAN finals
MILO IS STILL OPTIMISTIC Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac believes his side can turn on the class and qualify for the finals of the maiden CHAN finals in Ivory Coast after a frightening 3-2 win against Nigeria in the first leg last round qualifier on Sunday.
The Black Stars rallied from two goals down to notch up the win and must now neutralize the two away goals scored by the Super Falcons in the return leg.
Rajevac praised his side for their come-back and hopes they can keep their heads afloat in the return leg.
" This team showed a very big character because they were losing 2-0 and came back to win 3-2. The second leg is there and we'll play and qualify," Rajevac told Ghanasoccernet.com
" The two goals they scored is crucial but we now know them better and can surprise them. The league is on and that will help me much.
" The players are responding well and that is good for us.We can still qualify."
Last night's win was the second in five matches for the Serbian in-charge.
The winner of the two-legged tie will progress to finals restricted for national team players on the continent.
