'Believe In Ghana' Concert Hits Tamale

The Believe in Ghana (BIG) Concert, organized by the New Patriotic Party (NPP), featuring most of the country's fine musicians is set to rock the northern regional capital this evening.

The event, to be held at the Jubilee Park in Tamale, would feature artistes like K.K, Fosu, Praye, Wutah, Daddy Lumba and King Ayisoba.

The rest are Batman Samini, A-Plus, Philipa Baafi and a host of others.

Highlighting on the event, the Northern Regional Secretary of the NPP, Mr. Clifford Braimah said it was aimed at portraying the party's commitment to peace with emphasis on the youth in the region as well as allaying fears of any violence during the elections.

He disclosed that in attendance would be the flag bearer of the party, Nana Akufo-Addo and his running mate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, as well as national and regional executives of the party and other party bigwigs.

The concert which would kick off at 7: 30 pm would precede the regional mammoth rally which is to take place the next day where the flag bearer would address the people.
