FT: Ghana 0-0 Tunisia

Ghanasoccernet brought you live update of the Black Stars goalless draw game against Tunisia's Carthage Eagles from the Ohene Djan Stadium in an  international friendly on Wednesday.


The Black Stars failed to live up to expectation and were the better side. New boy Sam Kyere had a bad outing and work hard for a place in our crowded midfield.


The Tunisians should have won and Ghana need to double up effort. Head coach Humberto Coelho will be much pleased with the result. 


90+2-Dan Yeboah flies a cross to Draman inside the box but he allowed the to slip pass him. Both teams are now waiting the final whistle.Prrrrrrrrrrrr and it is all over.Ghana labour to draw against Tunisia. 


89-Abeyie's free-kick beat the Tunisian wall but the ball went wide from 20-yards. 


80- Sub: Wissem Yahia withdrawn for Khaled Souissi 


78-Sam Yeboah picks a loose ball and beat his marker but that was feeble for goalie Hamdi Kasraoui


75- Play was halted after the Tunisian goalie was heckled in the post. Oh Sub stitution for Ghana-Samuel Inkoom takes the place of Hans Adu-Sarpei who has struggled to find his form. This is his first competitive match after a long lay-off.


74-The Tunisians have turned on the style and the Black Stars are having a real reality check.


73 -Sub- Striker Sam Yeboah replaces Mathew Amoah 


68-Paintsil clears the ball off the line after Issam Joma run through the defence and lays a pass but that ball was cleared.


66- Substitute Isaam Joma runs down Sarpei and Quartey but side netted.


64- Sub -Qunicy replaces Dede Ayew.That is the third change by the Black Stars


60-Draman is booed by the fans after his feeble long-range strike 


58-Yeboah releases Paintsil on the right and he sends in a cross which was headed by Dede and hit a the hand of a Tunisian defender.

55-Paintsil fails to recover and the Tunisians break on a counter but fail to punish the Stars. 


50- YELLOW CARD -Dede Ayew was brought down his Tunisian marker and flashed the card. The resultant kick was wasted


46-Appiah passes the ball and sends it back but it was kicked out over the touch line for a Tunisia throw-in 


Players of both teams are on the pitch and Ghana has brought on Junior Agogo for Prince Tagoe. Draman also substitutes Sam Kyere.


45+2-Half-Time: The Black Stars have struggled in this half and will have to improve in the second-half. The defence is a bit porous and the attacking force is blunt. Head Rajevac must overhaul his side. The second-half will be much better from two-side


40-Tagoe pulled out for Amoah whose volley from close range hit the woodwork.

39-GOAL-disallowed-Ayew glides a cross inside was parried into play but Tagoe tapped in from an offside position.


38- Dede Ayew is militantly tackled by Jamel Saihi and the goal over the line for a throw-in for Tunisia.

37-Belali Tijani races towards goal and sets-up Ali Zitouni but his shot went off-target. 


35-Freekick in Tunisia half. Bilal sends it back to goalkeeper but the clearance was stopped by Amoah in the centre circle.

30-Kasraoui comes out to deny Amoah after the latter was set-up by Appiah. Jamel Sani picks it for Tunisia but the attack breaks down.


25-Amoah fails to control a ball on the center line and loses control.


22- Appiah makes solo run towards the box but his shot from 20-yards goes off-target 


19- Amoah fouled and free-kick sent in but Tunisia clear dangerously inside the box 


16-Tunisia charge from the right but goalie Richard Kingston came out to clear it inside the 18-yard box


15- Eric Addo charges from the back but was brought down just behind the center circle. Free-kick wasted by Ghana.


11- The Black Stars are reeling under-pressure and struggling to settle in the game. 

  9- Appiah puts Dede Ayew through but his cross was cut-out.

  7- Ali Zitouni charges down the left flank and sends in cross but Quartey bicycle-kick cools the situation 


5- Another shaky defending by Ghana and the clearance comes in nervously

  2- Tunisia threaten the back line of Ghana made up of Jonathan Quartey, Eric Addo, Paintsil and Adu Sarpei.


0- Carthage Eagles kick start the action and sends it back to begin attack.
