Avenge Defeat - Coach

By Our Sports Reporter - newtimesonline.com

Coach Milovan Rajevac has told his players to avenge defeat in today's international friendly against Tunisia on home soil.

The Black Stars lost 0-2 to the Carthage Eagles in Tunis in the build-up to the 2006 Nations Cup in Egypt.

The Serbian wants his team to keep up the tempo and sharpen their arsenals ahead of next year's final phase 2010 joint qualifiers.

He took charge of his first training session on Monday with 18 players in camp and he is expected to have a full compliment with the arrival of Eric Addo and Haminu Dramani.

Rajevac will be chasing his second win in four matches in the tie and have to do that with an injury-hit team.

Defender John Mensah, Sulley Muntari, Michael Essien and Asamoah Gyan are all on the road to full recovery.
