SANNE MUST PROVE CRITICS WRONG Former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Sannie Mohammed remains upbeat to winning a place in the Asante Kotoko team after joining the Red Devils this term.

The 26-year-old was one of the 10 transfer listed players by Hearts after the end of last season and uncharacteristically joined their archrivals.

Mohammed was in post when Hearts defeated Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium on penalties in 2005 for the maiden Caf Confederation Cup trophy.

But the burly goalkeeper subsequent fell off the pecking order and complained bitterly of less playing time.

" For all these goalkeepers in Asante Kotoko they are good but Sannie is well experienced  and all that,'' His local agent, Alex Bossman, told Ghanasoccernet.com

" On a good day, he can match any goalkeeper in the world if I'm not exaggerating. So let's give the chance for us to see."
