Ghana would host Tunisia in an international friendly on November 19, 2008, as the Black Stars prepare for the World Cup/African Nations Cup 2010 qualifiers.
A statement confirming the match was announced today in Accra by the Ghana Football Association.
According to the FA, the midweek match would be played at the Ohene Djan Stadium in Accra. The latest announcement quashes earlier reports of a planned game against Paraguay.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) announces that the Black Stars of Ghana will play their counterparts from Tunisia on Wednesday, 19th November, 2008, at the Ohene Djan Stadium, in Accra.
The match forms part of our preparations towards the World Cup/African Nations Cup 2010 qualifications as well as the support of the Football Association towards a peaceful election in Ghana ,on December 7, 2008.
