OSEI KWAME Jnr's desire to prolong his stay at Kotoko has received a lifeline, as the Champions have offered him a fresh contract. Kwame Jnr., whose contract at Kotoko expired in April this year, has been handed a three-year deal by the Porcupine Warriors after dragging their feet for a while.

DAILY GUIDE SPORTS could not confirm the financial terms of the deal but gathered that the player is highly delighted about it.

Sources say Kotoko's failure to reach a permanent deal with left full back Harrison Afful influenced them to sign on Osei Kwame Jnr. who plays at the same position.

It would be recalled that Osei Kwame Jnr.'s contract at Kotoko expired in April this year but the Champions dragged their feet with regard to giving him a new deal.

Following this development, many clubs including Ashantigold FC expressed the desire to poach him, but he insisted he was not ready to bid adieu to Kotoko, at least not for now.

In a related development, Kotoko are reported to have signed on Godfred Yeboah for three years but the monetary terms of the deal were not immediately known.
