PINBRIDGE Ghana Limited has launched of a new football betting game in Ghana dubbed 'Winner 1 x 2', in association with the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Every week Pinbridge Ltd will publish a match list of 12 football matches from around the world, mainly from Ghana and European of African Premier Soccer leagues.
On a weekly basis, fans in Ghana would be offered the opportunity to bet on games that will offer cash prices and large jackpots for winners in this soccer pool.
This, according to Hezi Makmal, Chief Executive Officer of Pinbridge Ltd., will generate a lot of excitement and provide entertainment for followers of football.
“Winner 1 x 2 will provide a lot of fun and entertainment for all who play it, generating a lot of funds for the game especially at the grass-roots level,” he added.
“The future stars of Ghana football will one day look back at their grass-roots and see the influence that Winner has had on their path to success,” he stated.
President of the GFA, Kwesi Nyantakyi, urged soccer fans to participate in this pool, believing it has come at an opportune time especially as it would generate more revenue for the clubs.
“Most clubs have traditionally relied on gate proceeds and more recently sponsorship to run their clubs,” he stated, stressing further that the revenue to be generated will go a long way to improve on player salaries among others.
The project which has been fully licensed and regulated by the Gaming Commission of Ghana, will run for an initial 10-year period with the possibility of extending the contract.
Pinbridge Ltd. expects to see a jackpot winner every other week, with prizes shared among the winners in each prize pool of the 12 games listed every week, a prize pool of four have been categorised with a person who currently predicts nine results at least, standing in with a chance of winning a prize.
