REPORTS REACHING DAILY GUIDE SPORTS indicates that Accra Hearts of Oak have joined Ashantigold FC in the race for the services of former Kessben FC playmaker Douglas Nkrumah.
Nkrumah has been training with Ashantigold for the past few weeks and was certain to commit his future to the Miners until the Phobians showed interest in him.
Sources say the intelligent player sneaked from Obuasi three days ago to hold negotiations with Hearts' management for a possible switch to their camp.
This development has made the race for Nkrumah's services a two-horse one between the Miners and the Phobians.
DAILY GUIDE SPORTS said both Hearts and Ashgold are yet to seal a deal with the former Kotoko winger who is now domiciled in Kumasi.
