Kotoko are the defending champs Telecommunication giants Onetouch have increased their sponsorship of Ghana?s top flight league handing the competition US$2.5m for next season. 

The mobile phone operators paid US$1.7m for its support of the competition last season but made the US$800,000 to increment as a boost to the clubs.

 

The news comes as a welcome relieve to the three newly promoted sides, Bechem Chelsea, Sekondi Eleven Wise and Saint Mirren.

 

They will join the 13 others who managed to stay in the competition for the new soccer season.

The trio takes the place of Accra Great Olympics, Tema Real Sportive and Zaytuna United who have been relegated to the First Division.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko is the defending champions of the Onetouch Premier League.
