STARS WANT TO GET BUSY The Ghana Football Association is said to be considering a proposal to play Oman in an international friendly next month.

 

The Oman Football Association has posted on its website a date with the Black Stars on 19 November, a fifa free date for international friendlies.

 

"Yes we have received a letter asking for a friendly but we have to meet with the technical team to decide whether that game fit into our plans," GFA vice-president, Fred Pappoe told Ghanasoccernet.com

 

"There're a lot of games to be played before begin our world cup qualifiers but that will those games must be seen to help us, he added.

 

"we will soon draw a plan for the team and will know our route to the world cup 2010."

 

It's believed the friendly is being facilitated by former Black Stars coach Claude Le Roy who now handles the Oman national team after refusing a contract extension.
