KOTOKO WANT TO VARIEGATE THE SQUAD Three foreign imports from the sub-region are trying out Asante Kotoko ahead of next year's Caf Champions League.

Malian defender Omilli Awudu and Nigerian duo Olu Bullus and Abu Musah joined the Porcupine Warriors last week.

The players are said to have had stints with North African sides, Etoile Sahel of Tunisian and Moroccan side Raja Casablanca.

The rank of foreigners in the squad is expected to increase to five with two more due in Ghana before the start of the pre-season.

The arrival of foreigners is in line with the management?s plans of fortifying their squad with brilliant and physical built players from neighbouring West African countries.

"The two Nigerians and Malian are in for trials if their performances tend out to be convincing, we will sign on," the club's spokesperson Kwame Baah-Nuakoh told the official newspaper.

"We have been looking up for quality players outside the shores of Ghana for sometime now. This is only the beginning."
