Mensah will be out for four weeks French club Lyon have confirmed that their Ghanaian defender John Mensah will spend one month on the sidelines after picking up a groin injury.
The 25-year-old tore his groin muscle last week but and coach Claude Puel has now revealed that Mensah will be out for one month.
The central defender was forced to leave the field in the 80th minute during his French team's 1-1 draw against Lille on Saturday.
The news will come as a big blow to Mensah as he just recently returned from groin problems, which caused him to miss Lyon's first few games of the season.
