Black Stars striker Manuel Junior Agogo marked his return to Zamalek with a goal in a 4-1 away win over ENPPI in the Egyptian League on Tuesday.
Agogo opened the scoring in the 25th minute before goals on Al-Safti, Magdi and Ashraf sealed it in the 51st,74th and 80th minutes respectively.
Zamalek fans expressed their disatisfaction over the exclusion of Agogo from the squad in last Friday's 1-0 loss to El-Geish.
But head coach Reiner Hollman explained his decision of dropping the bulky striker to his late arrival from international duty.
The Ghanaian forward has struggled to settle in Egypt but his recent form is expected to inspire him.
