Can Faisal Upset Hearts Again?

Accra Hearts of Oak have a tough task when they clash with Kumasi-based King Faisal tomorrow in a friendly charity match at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Hearts lost narrowly to Faisal in the first leg of two matches organised with the aim of raising funds for the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi to rehabilitate its wards and administrative blocks.

Hearts coach, Kosta Papic, who was disappointed by the loss in the first encounter at the Ohene Djan Stadium last weekend, appears certain about the chances of surmounting any threat by Faisal.

He is bent on avoiding a second defeat by Faisal, and this will involve the parading of some of his newly-signed players including Kofi Bekoe, Ralph Osei, and Obed Ansah whose efforts will be complemented by old lads such as in-form Charles Taylor, Kofi Abanga and Eric Gawu.

The outcome of this game will have a huge bearing on Hearts' rebuilding exercise and also determine how worthwhile their investment for the season has been.

Faisal, on the other hand, are coming into the game with an upper hand, having beaten Hearts in their backyard.

They require a good result to psyche them up for the upcoming premier league season.
