Deluxe facility for Royal Club

The Royal Golf Course in Kumasi is to have a new deluxe hospitality facility on its grounds for the promotion and development of golf, locally and internationally, courtesy Golden Beach Hotels Ghana Limited, owners of La Palm Royal Beach Hotel Accra, Elmina and Busua Beach resorts.

Mr. Yaw Kwarteng, the CEO of Golden Beach Hotels (GBH), who dropped the hint in Kumasi at the weekend to climax the inaugural Otumfuo Opoku Ware II Memorial Golf championship, said talks are far advanced for commencement of the project.

The management of GBH believes in the necessity of promoting Ghana's traditional cultural values through chieftaincy Institution, in line with its motto -'Uniquely Golden and Traditionally Ghanaian,” the CEO said.

Awudu Holler of host club, Kumasi, and virtual new comer, C. Nsiah Sarpong, both with six under par 66net won the two major trophies in the high scoring 18-hole tournament in the amateur category.

Kwame Korsah, 71 gross, Teddy Nyarko and Kwadjo Banni all with 74 gross each, Paul Nyarko 77gross and P.K.Mintah 80gross, were winners in the Pros category.
