					Danquah makes Newcastle trip

DANQUAH IS Ghana born Dutch youngster Frank Wiafe Danquah earned his first call-up into the Newcastle senior team for Sunday's clash with Everton at the Goodison Park .

The 19-year-old signed a professional contract for the club at the beginning of the year and had been with the reserves although he featured on their pre-season.

The player was called into the first-team puddle for the final game of the season at Everton, but didn't make the subs bench.

The player who finished last season as the top scorer for the reserves has found grace in caretaker boss Joe Kinnear.

Newcastle United have put an abysmal showing to the league campaign losing four matches on a trot and will face a stiffer opposition from Everton.

The player who is also former player for the Ajax youth team has a greater chance of playing for the Dutch under 19 side.

His agent Winnie Haastrecht was some time quoted in the media as "I hope he will now get a Holland Under-19 call up,"
