THE Togo Football Federation (TFF) has tentatively chosen Ghana to host the 2010 World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations Group 11 qualifier against Zambia in May.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) last November announced the barring of Togo from hosting 2010 qualifiers due to violence during the Togolese 0-2 loss to Mali in the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) acting general secretary, Fidelis Banda, said in Lusaka yesterday that the May 30 qualifier would be played in Ghana.

"For now, it is Ghana," Banda said.
The 2008 Africa Cup final host venue, Ohene Djan Stadium in Accra, is the tentative venue for the match.

The TFF were also ordered to pay US $30,000 for the violence that sparked after losing to Mali at home and missing a place at the just ended Africa Cup of Nations.

Swaziland and Eritrea are the other teams in Group 11.
