Accra, Ghana - Otto Pfister, the German coach of Africa Cup on Nations semi-finalists Cameroon, was on Wednesday denied access to the main stadium ahead of his team's training session. The 70-year-old wanted to enter the stadium, but was denied entry, which resulted in a scuffle with local police.

Pfister, who has been outspoken in his criticism of the organization of the tournament, was not allowed in after policemen told ground staff to deny him entry into the Ohene Djan stadium.

Pfister is said to have sworn at police, who are said to have sworn back. After a few minutes, a member of the Cameroon delegation forced a door open, which allowed Pfister to enter the field.

"This is a total disaster. I don't know if this is the Nations Cup or a tournament for children," he said.
