Alhaji Ahmed Bandoh, Managing Director of Bahmed Travel and Tours yesterday donated a cash of $30,000 to the Black Stars for qualifying to the quarter final of the 26th Africa Cup of Nations.

Making the presentation at the Fiesta Royale Hotel in Accra, he praised the performance of the Stars against Morocco and urged Ghanaian fans to continue to cheer the national team to victory.

"I have great confidence in the current Black Stars, I know they can win the African Cup and that is why I am making this presentation to ginger them up for the remaining three matches" he told the Statesports.

Al Hamilton, founder of the All Africa and Commonwealth Sports Awards also presented a special plague to the Black Stars for their super shows in the past.

Hamilton, a former sports journalist and boxing promoter, said the Black Star held the flag of Africa very high during the 2006 World Cup and their current performance in the ongoing Africa Cup indicated that they were still a great force to reckon with.

Ghana Football Association spokesman Randy Abbey assured the whole nation that the Black Stars would prepare adequately to lift the African Cup for the fifth time on February 10, 2008.
